MHX (Magnify Him In Total Excellence) Dancewear Too was founded in March, 2011 by mother/daughter team, Lashawn Thomas and Pamela Thomas, as an L.L.C. (Limited Liability Company) based in Baltimore, Maryland; a privately-held, woman and minority-owned company.
Lashawn, a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), New York, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, and an Associate’s in Applied Science in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (L.I.M.), New York. Upon completion of her studies, Lashawn spent many years working in the fashion industry in NYC, primarily on the contemporary and couture levels. Dance is and always will be a passion. Breanna, dance major and graduate of Howard University and Dean College but most importantly loves to worship and serve the Lord in complete and total Excellence.
Pamela, blessed with the gift of fashion design and creation.
Born with a special God-given talent that has inspired both young and old throughout the years, by making their dreams come true. From wedding gowns to prom dresses, runway designs to praise wear, back-to-school outfits to simple alterations, Pamela’s attention to detail and design is unparalleled.
MHX Dancewear Too hit the mainstream
MHX Dancewear Too hit the mainstream in March 2011 as a fresh, new couture online dancewear company, geared primarily towards liturgical dance ministries, local/national dance schools, pre-professional and professional dance companies/ensembles, and, most importantly, your everyday aspiring dancer, from pre-school age to retiree. All sizes, genders, and ethnicities are included in our designs.
We stand out with our unique and lavish designs, fabrics, and seasonal collections. We offer exuberant dance attire for rental, custom order, or purchase.
MHX Dancewear Too’s main purpose is to keep fashion alive in the Performing Arts by offering great value for our innovative designs. We also work with at-risk performing arts programs and communities. And for the dancer, company, or school not able or prepared to pay full price for each performance, Money is Saved by renting our collections for a quarter of the price.
